When sculpting in 3D, there's a thin line between charming and cursed. I set out to make a simple horse, but soon found myself deep in ‘the demon field’—that unsettling space where details are too vague, realism is abandoned, and your model starts looking like it might eat you. To save my creation from eternal nightmare fuel, I gave it a strong underbite—just enough personality to transform it from eerie to endearing. 3D modeling like this is a constant balance between simplicity and avoiding the chaos of undefined shapes. This is how I wrangled my model back from the abyss.
