Easy To Install Outdoor Patio Pavers

Patio Pavers ROUND 2!

This area under our deck has always been a swamp land so we never used it. Once I found these porcelain patio pavers that could be installed over the ground and concrete, I finally had a vision!

I removed the old grass and about 3” of soil, sloped, leveled, and compacted it. Then I added landscape fabric and 1/2” of sand (leveled) before laying Paver Base panels over top. These take the place of gravel!

Because my pavers are so large I wanted a little extra help making sure they were perfectly level, so I added a second layer of fabric and sand according to my Paver Base instructions.

I laid my Satori Carlton Mist & Sendero Mica pavers from Lowes out, using my wet saw for straight cuts and my angle grinder with a diamond blade for curved cuts.

I used a polymeric sand in gray between the pavers - sweep it in then wet it to set it into place.

We’re going to use this space SO much more now!

And don’t worry - that retaining wall in the middle isn’t going to stay - I have a plan to add something there that will help connect both spaces!
