Time to chill with Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata - actually the first movement of the Piano Sonata No 14 completed in 1801. It was not known as the Moonlight in his lifetime - this name was proposed by the poet Ludwig Relistab in 1832. Beethoven's title for the sonata was 'Quasi una fantasia' (like a fantasy) and the score is marked 'senza sordini' (no dampers) which would result in all notes having a ringing quality like a sustain. I have tried to achieve this effect in this arrangement.

All parts played by me on MIDI keyboard (not necessarily at the same time!) and recorded, edited and mixed in my DAW (Studio One). Piano sample is Monastery Grand from Melda Production.
