🎤 Malachi Fyah – The Prophet of Analog Flame
Born in the hills of St. Ann’s Parish, Jamaica, Malachi Fyah was raised on the teachings of Marcus Garvey and the dubwise rumbles of sound system clashes echoing through zinc-roof villages. His voice is gravel and gold—raw from singing praises in Nyabinghi circles and sharpened by the hardships of Babylon life.
In the late '70s, he recorded underground tracks on a homemade reel-to-reel deck, known for one-take sessions where spirit trumped polish. Though he never courted fame, his vinyl pressings became cult classics in Europe and Africa, circulated among collectors and soundmen like sacred relics.
