The Lucid Air is HERE, and it’s going up against one of the fastest electric cars we’ve featured on our channel - the Porsche Taycan Turbo S!

So let’s see how these all-electric animals stack up. Starting with the Porsche, it’s equipped with two electric motors that can deliver 761hp and 1,050Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, mind, tipping the scales at 2,295kg, and it’s also pretty pricey, coming in at £148,000.

However, the Porsche looks almost cheap compared to the Lucid, which costs an eye-watering £193,000! But then again, it’s not the price that’s more than the Porsche, so is the price! It’s also equipped with two electric motors, but they combine to deliver an amazing 1,111hp and 1,390Nm! It’s also slightly heavier, weighing in at 2,383kg.

So surely it’ll be a clean sweep for the more powerful Lucid, right? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
