Students studying in Canada will now need to be enrolled in a Master's, PhD, or professional program to bring their spouse to Canada while they study.
For those on work permits, spouses can now only come to Canada if the worker is in a high-skilled position (TEER 3 or higher).

Policy changes have made it more difficult to obtain spousal open work permits, both students and temporary workers will be subject to these changes in 2025. 🔑
