(#12 Aug 7, 2015) Today’s word is ukonilma. It means thunderstorm in Finnish. Translated it would mean the “the weather of Ukko”. Ukko is the old Finnish god of sky, weather, harvest and... thunder. The related word “Ukonvaaja” means thunderbolt and literally translates to “the hammer of Ukko.” Thanks to Eero for suggesting this word! (@eeronaut)
