“SUNTORY presents Beethoven’s 9th with a Cast of 10,000” is a yearly concert where a choir of 10,000 amateur singers gather together to sing Beethoven’s 9th. It is among the largest concerts of its kind and has continued for 38 years since 1983 without interruption.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic that made it impossible to gather and sing in 2020, we are proud to have achieved an amazing fusion of over 10,000 singing videos and a live orchestra performance in perfect harmony.

世界最大規模の合唱コンサート「サントリー1万人の第九」。一般募集の合唱団1万人が集まりベートーヴェンの第九を演奏するもので、1983年から38年間一度も止むことなく続いてきました。
2020年は新型コロナウイルスの影響で1万人が集うことが不可能でした。そこで私たちは1万人分以上の投稿動画とオーケストラの生演奏を融合して奇跡のコンサートを成功させました。
