This home on Hwy 64 in Bat Cave, NC was hit hard by Helene. There has been significant work done here, including pouring a concrete wall and foundation to stabilize and protect the home from further slides. the work was not yet complete and the wall still needed to be backfilled. The heavy rain on May 13 tore the concrete from the foundation, leaving the home at risk and without support for the upper deck. Jake made a road to access the property so that the debris could be removed and the wall can be restored and backfilled.
