Making a Monster with the Chief Part 4

This is Part 4 of the series where Chief goes over how to create a neck for your monster.

Chief May is gearing up for the Halloween festivities in this series of videos. He has a passion for sculpting his own props and he is excited to share his knowledge with you and your family so that you can make your own Halloween monster or prop.

What you will need to make a monster prop :
Foam skull or foam wig form
¾ or ½ inch pvc to make stand
Paper Mache clay or foam clay for sculpting features or two-part epoxy
Eyes (human 25mm) pre-made plastic eyes or 1-inch wood balls (paint your own)
Teeth – buy resin teeth or sculpt out of 2-part epoxy or make out of hot glue

For the Skin and Paint :
Shop towels
Cotton balls or cotton strips
Liquid latex or mold latex
Assortment of paints
Hair- cheap wig and t-pins or hot glue
