The Gar decided to be a little tricky today but we still ended the day eating some delicious Garfish cooked over an open oakwood fire! Cleaning a Gar looks like it would be hard but it really is fairly simple! I used a pole spear which is normally used underwater but it works great out of water too. Going forward, I will probably use a spear tip with multiple spikes to make things a little easier. Hope you enjoy!!
