Begin your adventure in Toyama and travel to Nagano along the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route. This route includes an ascent of Mount Tateyama-Oyama, reaching an impressive elevation of 3,003 meters. For your safety, submission of a mountain entry permit to the local government is mandatory at Murodo Terminal to enter the Tateyama-Murodo mountains area for outdoor activities during the autumn to spring snow season. Official mountain instructors check the documents and advise you to return safely.
