Trump's Iran airstrike, what is its strategy and background?

President Trump, known as a war-averse person,

had a strategic purpose in precisely striking Iran's nuclear facilities.

Iran was in the final stages of developing nuclear weapons, and had continued to make hostile remarks toward the US and Israel. Trump did not sit idly by and removed the nuclear facilities under the pretext of a 'preemptive strike for peace'.

By striking the 90m underground facility with a 'bunker buster' bomb,
