This actually is a thing! The Tetsudo Hobby Train (Railfan hobby) KIHA 32 runs on JR Shikoku from Kubokawa to Uwajima, styled in a mix between a KIHA diesel motor car, and the nose of a Zero series Shinkansen. Naturally when I saw this get announced, one was going to find its way onto the roster!
