This is about the short trip from Auckland to Christchurch.
We've travelled for 4.5 days and as we used to live in Christchurch, we didn't do much fancy things and we spent more time for our 2.5 year old son.

'Margaret Mahy Playground' is a must visit place for kids
'Avon River' is right next to the playground and there are ducks that children love
'Child sister cafe' is walking distance from the playground, so great to have a fluffy time after the play
We went to 'Riccarton Mall' and had late lunch at 'Riccarton Noodle House' where both of us loved when we were at high school.
As Chch is a Garden city, we've enjoyed the nature of the gardens here and there
'Diamond Harboud' is somewhere we can relax
We've visited 'Soulful Cafe' at Diamond harbour, they have a great relaxing atmosphere but their customer service was dissatisfied. And there were a lot of ants on the cookies in their cabinet.
'Cookie Time Factory' is small but they have good souvenirs for Auckland friends.
'Coffee Culture' is what both of us have missed as we can't find this cafe in Auckland. Reminisce!
