★2月の満月は「スノームーン」とも呼ばれます。アメリカの原住民たちが四季を的確に把握し農業に生かすために作った暦では、2月の満月を「スノームーン」と呼ぶのです。その理由は、2月のアメリカでは一年でいちばん雪が多く降るからだといわれています。

★「スノームーン」、つまりは雪月です。白くて、手に取れば瞬く間に溶けてしまう儚げな雪は、おとめ座が持つ清廉潔白さとリンクするところがあります。そしてその雪には、浄化の力、リセット力が強いといわれているのです。スノームーンと名付けられた2月12日はこの雪のパワーも秘めていると考えるといいでしょう
