ik a lot of people have already done it but I wanted to add my monitoring shadow milk to the pile have had this song in my playlist for him and I love the overlap of obsessive and intrusive love between this song and shadow milk. will have this as a last minute print at AX this weekend!!

I messed with the colors quite a bit bc I was specifically referencing the frame in the swipe and I adore the way the palette is bright and exaggerated. I wanted to get that across in mine too, but it was a bit difficult to find the right combination since shadow milk is not only blue but like. A very specific kind of blue. In the end I’m rlly happy with the final color scheme bc I think it gets that poppy color palette across while staying true to smilk :3
also wanted to play with the border a bit and have him interacting with it more but I did kinda lose the peephole effect, but hopefully the vibe/reference is still clear BDBSNXJSJ
I was partially inspired to draw this after seeing @/heyitspegkat ‘s beautiful shadow milk pixel animation that reminded me of monitoring so pls go give that some love!!
