In this specific case, we're using a DWG file that was produced from a PDF. The conversion process is detailed.
While you are likely to get much better results using the drawings produced by an architect or a laser measuring firm, what we show here should be perfectly adequate to to get started with categorization and assignment of space, placing assets, doing measurements, and most other facilities tasks.
