Many people nowadays have become complacent, saying “if something happens I’m sure the government will protect me - that’s what I’m paying taxes for… right?”. Unfortunately, statistics show that the reality is far from optimal as the police and military usually have to deal with the big picture, like the war on drugs, or the war for peace, respectively. This leaves many of us to fend for ourselves on the everyday, small offenses (like mugging or burglary), and especially during the initial stages of a catastrophe, during which all the governmental agencies will be so preoccupied, it may take days or even weeks until they can help all the individuals.

This notion has caused many people to take a stand and start gaining the skills and gathering gear and supplies to be able to fend for themselves. We call ourselves Survivalists, more commonly known as Preppers.

In the next 2 videos, I’ll review the most common mistakes made by inexperienced preppers, and how to overcome them in order to be better prepared for any situation.
