The main character this time is DAISUKE YOSHIDA, the head chef of Kappo "NOGUCHI TSUNAGU" in Gion.
This restaurant opened in November 2019.
"NOGUCHI TSUNAGU" is located south of Gion Shijo.
Actually, this is the 2nd store of "KYOTENJIN NOGUCHI", which is famous as a popular restaurant that won 2 stars in the Michelin Guide and cannot be reserved.
YOSHIDA was entrusted with this store at the young age of 34.
He proposes new Japanese cuisine such as "meat soup" using Kuroge Wagyu beef and "Goto carbonara" that makes use of ingredients from his hometown, the Goto Islands.
Furthermore, even now that the number of customers has decreased due to the influence of the new coronavirus, he continues to think about how to survive in adversity and how to establish his own cuisine.
