A deal between the USA & Alberta already in the works?

In a recent press conference the Premier of Alberta revealed that there are USA/Alberta deals being created behind the scenes. As Alberta separation from Canada continues to gain support. A recent poll shows the desire for independence has increased by at least 10% since the last survey.
