Hello everyone! We’ve got a ton of exciting news and updates to talk about today, so let’s jump right in!
First off, Zenless Zone Zero has officially announced its 1.5 Special Program, which will air on January 10. You can catch the livestream on their official YouTube and Twitch channels.

Let’s start with some character news. A new bamboo named PhantomBoo will be introduced in Version 1.5. he’ll become playable in "Version 1.7".
Now, on to skins! There’s been buzz about new skins for Astra and Ellen, and while there’s no official release date yet, insider information suggests they’re already in development. Recently, a new Astra model was leaked, featuring her in a gorgeous white outfit. This could very well be her upcoming skin, and let me tell you—it looks absolutely stunning!
As for Ellen, we don’t have any visuals or concrete details yet, but with both skins being hinted at, it’s only a matter of time before they’re officially revealed.
Version 1.5 is also introducing a brand-new mode called Simulated Battle Trial: End of the Road. This challenge features 10 floors of increasingly difficult battles, with unique mechanics to keep things interesting.

Here’s how it works:
On each floor, you can choose one of three combat environments, which grant unique buffs tailored to enemy characteristics.
These buffs are critical, especially as the enemies get tougher.
You’ll earn medals for clearing stages, and starting from Floor 50, you’ll begin receiving Demon King medals.
One small but intriguing detail: the medal icons now include the word "Season", suggesting that this mode could feature seasonal updates or rotations.

Moving on, with the Chinese New Year just around the corner on January 29, ZZZ will be celebrating in style by giving players 10 free pulls! Mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on these festive rewards.
Another highlight of Version 1.5 is a quirky event inspired by Fall Guys, the wildly popular 2020 game. In this event, you’ll play as a bamboo (yes, you read that right) and navigate an obstacle course filled with challenges.
"If this event turns out to be multiplayer, it’s going to be absolute chaos"—and I mean that in the best way possible. Honestly, I’m more excited about this event than even Astra’s upcoming banner!
Finally, let’s talk about the update roadmap. Version 1.7 will be the final update before we transition into Version 2.0. From there, the updates are expected to go up to 2.8 before we reach Version 3.0.
It’s exciting to see how the game is planning its future updates, and we’ll likely see more big changes and new content as we approach these milestones.
