We drove to Zion National park from Bryce Canyon and boy what a treat that ride was! We followed the Scenic Byway 12 and entered Zion from the East, following the Mount Carmel Highway. This road deserves at least 2 mins of video time as the whole ride was nothing but spectacular.

We had 2.5 days in Zion and despite a heatwave, we maximized the explorations by doing both The Narrows day hike and Angels Landing climb. We woke up very early for both of the hikes to beat the sun and the crowds. And the crowds are something this national park definitely has. It is popular. That’s probably why I have mixed feelings about it - I absolutely loved the landscape and both of the hikes, but hated the crowds, especially in the afternoon.
