Doa Sebelum Tidur
Takes on the concept of a short prayer recited before sleep. This prayer is translated into a 3-note motif, played by each instrument, as if these instruments are praying the same prayer in a different way. The Mezzo-Soprano sings and recites the text by Budiman S Hartojo, Sebelum Tidur.

Time Freeze
Distortion of reality and absurd occurences is perhaps how many people describe their dreams. The heart of this piece lies in repetition and the distortion of the repetition. As dreams sometimes brings back old memories, this piece is highlighted with moments of nostalgia of the dreamer.

Ruach
Ruach is the Hebrew word for Wind or Spirit. The idea of this piece comes from the notion of awakening, both physically and spiritually. The piece starts with a slow, dream-like figure in the ensemble which slowly accelerates and intensifies. The figre is later transformed into a machinistic and minimalistic figure to represent the mundanity of life even in dreams. This minimalistic figure later develops and is processed with time. Through this process, this piece ends on a high note, with an etheral texture to represent the spiritual enlightenment and awakening.
