One of the biggest changes with the Surface Laptop 2 is that new Matte Black. I think this will be a fan favorite because of how stealthy the laptop looks, BUT due to the magnesium build it can scratch up easily.

Microsoft went from a dual to a quad core i5 U processor. The U chip allowed me to process gaming much better than the new MacBook Air, but the battery level I was getting was around 7.5 hours.

-Overall, this is a great laptop for students because it has a great keyboard, great tall 13.5in screen, great look, and great performance all for starting at $1000.
