The BMW 2 Series Coupe was announced in July 2021 in EU and launched in Japan in March 2022.

While the 2 Series Gran Coupe already on the market had a FF-based drive system, the coupe remained FR, preserving the traditional "BMW-ness".

The 2 Series Coupe is currently available in Japan with two types of petrol engines.

This time, we test-drove the high-end model "M240i xDrive Coupe" (drive system is 4WD) equipped with a 3-liter in-line 6-cylinder turbo (387ps).
