What instruments are typically used when creating tracks in the epic genre? How are they being used? Are there instruments that should be avoided? I tried to answer these questions, as part of my quest to create that iconic, cinematic, larger than life sound that we know so well from movies and video games. I also give specific examples of the main roles each instrument has in this genre.
